The Jurassic Period (201–145 million years ago) was the middle part of the Mesozoic Era, when dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Allosaurus thrived, and pterosaurs and marine reptiles like Plesiosaurs ruled the skies and seas. The climate was warm and humid, with lush forests and no polar ice, making it a perfect time for dinosaurs to dominate the Earth.
