The Cambrian Period (541–485 million years ago) was the first part of the Paleozoic Era, known for the "Cambrian Explosion," when many bizarre sea creatures like Anomalocaris, Hallucigenia, and trilobites rapidly evolved. The climate was warm, with no ice caps, and life thrived in the oceans, while the land remained barren.
