About Moonwake Studios
Are you a fan of crochet and dinosaurs or other prehistoric creatures? If so, you're in for a treat! At Moonwake Studios you can find all kinds of prehistoric patterns from all kinds of different time periods. From the weird Cambrian to cold quaternary and everything in between! All my patterns are based on the latest scientific research, so be prepared for dinosaurs with feathers and pronated hands, no Jurassic park style broken wrists to be found here ;)

Each pattern features fun illustrations, a passport to learn all kinds of fascinating facts about your prehistoric animals as well as a detailed pattern complete with pictures to guide you along. A glossary of all abbreviations and a detailed material list is also included as well as a printer friendly version without pictures and illustrations. Each pattern is also tested before published to guarantee quality.

While most patterns are more advanced, beginners aren’t forgotten! There are also smaller patterns available called ‘Paleo Pals’ which include instructions for three different creatures that are simpler in shape! These patterns also include all the beforementioned illustrations and a small passport for all three animals!

Meet the designer
Hi there, My name is Marjolein and I'm the designer, illustrator and owner of Moonwake Studios! I'm from the Netherlands and use she/her pronouns.
Growing up I have always loved drawing and dinosaurs and later on in live picked up the hobby of Crocheting. When I wanted to make some dinosaurs I found that there weren't a lot of patterns available. So I decided to start designing them myself!
My goal is to share all kinds of dinosaur patterns as well as other prehistoric creatures with the world as well as educate about them!
